| Obverse description | The obverse is printed entirely in Ottoman Turkish calligraphy and letterpress on plain paper, enclosed within an elaborate multi-line rectangular border of intricate geometric and floral guilloche work. A large central sunburst vignette with radiating rays surrounds a blank oval reserve at the top centre, below which several cartouches in ornate frames carry the denomination and treasury inscriptions in naskh and thuluth scripts. Two oval signature cartouches appear in the lower half flanking a central text panel, with a further small oval seal cartouche at the foot. |
