| Reverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription giving the mint name and regnal year, arranged in three or four horizontal lines. The legend identifies the place of striking as Tripoli of the West (طرابلس غرب) together with the accession year 1223 AH. The inscription is framed within a wreath of stylized branches mirroring the obverse, consistent with the provincial Ottoman coinage style of the Tripolitan Regency under Mahmud II. |
