| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in red-pink tones on a fine guilloche underprint ground. At the top centre, a Cyrillic inscription reads the issuer and promise-to-pay legend, with the denomination ДЕСЕТ ПЕРПЕРА in bold Cyrillic text beneath. A central circular vignette carries the Montenegrin royal coat of arms with crown, flanked by the numeral 10 at all four corners; series and serial number designations appear in the upper central field.
