| Obverse description | The obverse features the Mexican national coat of arms prominently centered in the field, depicting a golden eagle perched upon a prickly pear cactus growing from a rock, devouring a serpent — all rendered in fine proof relief against a mirror-polished background. | Reverse description | The reverse presents a half-length figure of a Chinelo dancer at right, depicted in traditional ceremonial costume including an elaborate feathered headdress adorned with Pre-Columbian motifs and beaded ornamentation, characteristic of the Morelian carnival tradition. Behind the figure to the left, a detailed architectural rendering of the Palacio de Cortés in Cuernavaca occupies the middle and lower field, its Moorish-influenced arched arcade and crenellated battlements rendered in fine relief.
