| Reverse description | Printed in brown ink throughout, the reverse is dominated by a large central circular medallion bearing the legend TEN SILVER PESOS in a curved arc above and PESOS below, with PHILIPPINE ISLANDS across a horizontal banner bisecting the medallion. Roman numeral X panels appear in the upper corners, arabesque numeral 10 panels occupy the lower corners, and TEN PESOS cartouches are positioned at centre left and right, all framed by elaborate lathe-work guilloche borders. The heading SILVER CERTIFICATE runs along the upper margin. |
