| Obverse description | Orange and black Notgeld note printed in a bold Jugendstil graphic style. A large central vignette on an orange ground bears the numeral '10' within a cartouche, with the legend 'Pfennig' in heavy blackletter below; the inscription 'Stadtgemeinde Plauen i/V' and 'Gutschein' appear at the top in ornate Gothic script. Flanking the central panel are decorative columns topped with urns; the lower margin carries a manuscript signature over the title 'Oberbürgermeister' at left, and the validity clause at right. |
