| Obverse description | Green-tinted note with a black and ochre decorative border of zigzag pattern and corner numeral "10" medallions. The central text, rendered in Gothic Fraktur script, carries the denomination "Zehn Pfennig" in large letters across the middle field, above and below which appear the conditions of acceptance and redemption at all municipal cashiers of Lingen. A vignette of the Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall), dated 1663, occupies the lower centre, with a banner beneath reading "Altes Rathaus". Two manuscript signatures appear at the bottom left and right, attributed to the Magistrat and the Bürgervorsteher-Kollegium respectively. |
