| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in green and rose on a light ground, with a central vignette of two confronting phoenixes above a pair of ascending dragons flanking a vertical green panel bearing the bank name in kanji characters. Denomination numerals (拾) appear in medallions at each corner, with floral and geometric guilloche borders framing the entire design. The lower margin carries the Meiji era date inscription 明治三十七年発行. |
