Obverse description Intaglio-printed oval vignette at left centre of Lady Hazel Lavery in a shawl, gazing right, rendered in red-orange over a green and salmon guilloche underprint. The bilingual bank title runs across the top in red letterpress, with the denomination in shillings repeated vertically along both side borders, and two facsimile signatures appear in the centre field above a denomination cartouche at the base. The note bears the bilingual legal tender text in both English and Irish.
