Additional information

The Palace of Westminster series was part of a broader wave of fractional gold miniatures issued by Pacific microstates in the 2010s, typically struck under contract by the Pobjoy Mint in Surrey — a facility that produced an outsized share of the world's novelty legal-tender gold during this period. At 0.50 g of 14-karat gold, these were sold almost entirely to collectors and never entered circulation in Vanuatu.
