Bank Polski was re-established in 1924 as part of the Grabski reform — the same sweeping stabilization program that replaced the heavily inflated Polish marka with the new złoty at a rate of 1,800,000 to one. This note belongs to that founding series, issued in the year the bank itself opened its doors after a century-long absence of a Polish central bank.
The Pick 62 series is known to circulate with varying quality of watermark registration, and some examples show significant offset bleeding in the intaglio printing — worth examining closely against a light source before grading.
