| Obverse description | The obverse is set against a salmon-pink guilloche underprint with an elaborate wave-pattern vignette to the right. At upper left, a circular Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe seal encloses the Zimbabwe Bird emblem. The denomination numeral '100 000 000' appears at all four corners in dark green, with the bearer cheque text block at centre reading the promise to pay, expiry date of 31st December 2008, and issue date of 2nd May 2008. The Governor's facsimile signature with the title 'Dr. G Gono, Governor' is printed to the lower left. |
