Reverse description The reverse displays an artfully composed arrangement of three overlapping silver maple leaves (Acer saccharinum) rendered in high relief with exceptional engraving precision. Each leaf is defined by multifaceted engraving, with finely angled incuse lines rising and falling across the leaf surfaces to create a prismatic light-reflecting effect reminiscent of multiple mirrors directing light in varied directions. The uppermost leaf receives selective rose gold plating, which also extends to the rim on both obverse and reverse, visually unifying the composition. The inscriptions CANADA and 2025 appear in the field, completing the design. The interplay of polished and engraved surfaces produces a dynamic contrast between brilliance and texture.
