Obverse description Central field displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Cameroon, featuring a shield with scales of justice flanked by two crossed fasces, surmounted by a five-pointed star, all within a circular border. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the lower portion of the central circle. The arms of the cross-shaped flan bear the bilingual inscriptions PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE and PEACE WORK FATHERLAND at the upper arms, with the denomination 100 FRANCS CFA repeated across the four arms of the cross in both French and English. The design is struck in antique finish on a cross-shaped planchet.
