Falange-issued food vouchers from the immediate postwar period are among the more unusual paper items that cross into notaphilic collections. This 100-gram bacon voucher from Rubí dates to 1940, when the Francoist rationing apparatus — formally organized under the Comisaría General de Abastecimientos y Transportes, established in 1939 — delegated local distribution control to municipal and party structures. The Falange in small Catalan towns frequently administered this at street level.
Rubí's proximity to Barcelona meant acute postwar shortages; the city had been heavily contested during the Civil War's final Catalonia campaign in early 1939.
