| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by an intricate overall design of geometric guilloche patterns and traditional Mauritanian ornamental motifs rendered in shades of purple, red, and gold, with decorative border panels incorporating indigenous textile-inspired geometric vignettes at left and right. The Arabic bank title appears in calligraphic script along the top, while the denomination in Arabic words and numerals occupies the central field alongside the issue date and two manuscript signatures with their Arabic titles. A fine green guilloche rosette underprint is visible in the centre, flanked by repeated numeral panels. |
