Reverse description An intaglio architectural vignette occupies the centre of the reverse, presenting the Patio de los Surtidores of the Generalife gardens in Granada, with its elongated fountain channel, trimmed hedgerows, cypress trees, and the palatial arcade visible in the background. The denomination numeral "100" appears in guilloche cartouches at the lower left and upper right corners, with a further ornamental cartouche at the right. The issuer's name "BANCO DE ESPAÑA" is inscribed in a panel at the top, and "CIEN PESETAS" in a panel at the bottom centre, all executed in the reddish-brown intaglio palette consistent with the series.
