| Obverse description | Central vignette presents portrait busts of the three Founding Fathers — Francisco del Rosario Sánchez, Juan Pablo Duarte, and Matías Ramón Mella — with the seal of the Banco Central de la República Dominicana to the left and a mahogany blossom (caoba, Swietenia mahagoni) motif in the underprint. Face value appears in numerals at both upper corners and lower right, rendered in letters above the bank seal, with the issuing date above the issuer name along the lower border.
