Comments

The Philippines switched its lower denominations to polymer beginning in the early 2010s, but the 100 Piso took longer to follow — the shift represented a significant logistical commitment given the note's high circulation volume. Note Printing Australia has been the BSP's primary polymer substrate supplier and printer for this series, with Melbourne production runs covering multiple seal type transitions as successive BSP governors have rotated through office.

Seal Type 7 corresponds to the current BSP governor's tenure. Worth noting for registry purposes: polymer issues from this period sometimes show minor registration variance at the clear window edges, a known characteristic of the NPA production line rather than a defect.
