Obverse description The obverse is dominated by a large vignette of a pitcher plant (Nepenthes pervillei) at centre-right, with a pair of Vieille Babone Cecile fish rendered in intaglio at left-centre against a fine guilloche underprint in rose and gold tones. The issuing authority inscription 'CENTRAL BANK OF SEYCHELLES / LABANK SANTRAL SESEL' appears across the upper portion, with the Creole denomination 'SAN ROUPI' at lower left and the numeral '100' at the far left vertical edge.
