| Obverse description | Central design features the traditional Nepalese royal cipher of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, rendered as an ornate yantra-style geometric arrangement with the king's name inscribed in Devanagari script across the quadrants. A trident symbol (trishula) occupies the central oval medallion, flanked by traditional Nepalese royal emblems including a conch shell, a lotus flower, and a ceremonial mace in the cardinal fields. The Vikrama Samvat regnal year 2038 appears at the base of the design, with the honorific titles Sri Sri rendered above, all enclosed within a beaded border. |
