The Government of India undertake to pay to him, on presentation of this Certificate at the aforesaid Post Office on or after the Rs. 125/- or at any earlier date one sum not exceeding Rs. 125/- specified on the reverse of this Certificate as due on such date. The face carries a tabulated redemption schedule listing surrender values from one through seven complete years, with a Receipt on Discharge panel at top right for recording actual payment. A footer inscription cites the authorising government notification dated 21st May 1948. |
