Obverse description At centre-left, a vignette of the National Martyrs' Memorial (Jatiyo Sriti Soudho) at Savar, the national monument commemorating those who fell in the 1971 War of Independence. To the right, a vignette of the Sixty Dome Mosque (Shat Gombuj Mosque) in Bagerhat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest surviving mosque of the Bengal Sultanate period, constructed under Ulugh Khan Jahan. Denomination numerals and Bengali-script bank legends appear in the surrounding panels.

The issuer's name appears in both Bengali and English above and below the central bridge vignette.
