| Obverse description | Central vignette of Damdiny Sükhbaatar (2 February 1893 – 20 February 1923), founding member of the Mongolian People's Party and commander of the partisan army during the 1921 Outer Mongolian Revolution, rendered in intaglio against a fine guilloche underprint. The national coat of arms appears alongside the portrait, with denomination numerals in ornate cartouches at the corners. Cyrillic and traditional Mongolian script inscriptions frame the design within a decorative border. |
