Obverse description Central vignette of Damdiny Sükhbaatar (2 February 1893 – 20 February 1923), founding member of the Mongolian People's Party and commander of the partisan army during the 1921 Outer Mongolian Revolution, rendered in intaglio against a fine guilloche underprint. The national coat of arms appears alongside the portrait, with denomination numerals in ornate cartouches at the corners. Cyrillic and traditional Mongolian script inscriptions frame the design within a decorative border.

Reverse description Central intaglio vignette of the Government Palace in Ulaanbaatar, rendered in fine engraved detail against a multicoloured guilloche underprint in olive-green and teal tones. The denomination ЗУУН ТӨГРӨГ (One Hundred Tögrög) is rendered in large ornate Cyrillic lettering within a decorative guilloche panel at centre, with traditional Mongolian script in vertical cartouches flanking the vignette on both sides. Denomination numerals appear in pink rosette cartouches at all four corners, with the year 1981 at top centre.
