| Obverse description | Central field features the national emblem of Mongolia — a stylised soyombo surmounting a traditional ornamental arch with a lotus petal base — enclosed within a circular cartouche. Directly below the emblem, in cursive script, appears the legend 'Монгол Банк' (Bank of Mongolia). Flanking the central device are two vertical Mongolian script inscriptions. The denomination '100' appears in large numerals beneath the central device, followed by 'ТӨГРӨГ' in Cyrillic and 'MONGOLIA' in Latin script along the lower rim. The coin displays a mirror-like proof field with finely milled reeded edge. |

| Reverse description | Colorized depiction of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu set against the dramatic Andean mountain backdrop. The lower portion of the field is rendered in full color, showing the terraced agricultural platforms and stone ruins of the ancient city in green and ochre tones, while the surrounding mountain peaks rise in silver relief against a darkened sky. A stylised globe emblem appears in the upper left field. The legend 'MACHU PICCHU' is inscribed in raised Latin letters along the upper rim. The numeral '7' appearing in the lettering field references Machu Picchu's designation as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. |
