Reverse description The reverse is executed in green intaglio and presents a detailed vignette of Gyeonghoeru, the grand ceremonial pavilion within Gyeongbokgung Palace, occupying the left two-thirds of the design. A large guilloche rosette to the right encloses the numeral 100. The inscription THE BANK OF KOREA runs along the upper border, with 100 WON centred at the lower margin and the year 1962 in small characters at the lower right.
