| Obverse description | The centre of the note is dominated by a large circular vignette of an ancient golden Abbasid dinar coin, its Kufic inscriptions rendered in fine intaglio relief and framed by an ornate scalloped guilloche border. Denomination numerals in Arabic script appear in each corner, flanked by elaborate scrollwork underprint in brown and gold tones, while the bank title in Arabic occupies the upper register. To the right, the value in Arabic letters and legal tender text are set within a geometric arabesque panel, with a facsimile signature of the Governor below. |
