| Reverse description | The reverse presents a detailed relief depiction of the Imperial German yacht S.M.S. Hohenzollern underway at sea, rendered in a three-quarter bow-on perspective with masts, rigging, funnels emitting steam, and multiple flags visible. The vessel is shown riding stylized waves occupying the lower portion of the field. A decorative ribbon scroll at the top of the design bears the legend S.M.S. HOHENZOLLERN, while a corresponding scroll banner at the base carries the dates 1892 - 2010, commemorating the launching of the vessel and the year of issue. |

| Additional information |
The SMS Hohenzollern served as Kaiser Wilhelm II's personal imperial yacht from 1893, accompanying him on diplomatic voyages and functioning as a floating extension of Wilhelmine statecraft. Germany's colonial hold on Kamerun — administered from 1884 until the joint Anglo-French invasion of 1914 — gives the ship a direct, if indirect, connection to the issuing authority on this coin.
Cameroon's post-independence numismatic program has produced a long series of commemoratives invoking the German colonial period, largely for the collector export market rather than domestic circulation.
