| Obverse description | The obverse displays the national coat of arms of Niger centrally positioned in the field, depicting a shield flanked by two crossed spears with a sun and a zebu head as principal charges, supported by a scroll bearing the legend REPUBLIQUE DU NIGER. The country name arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering reading REPUBLIQUE DU NIGER, while the denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed in two lines along the lower periphery. The design is executed in a proof finish with a deeply mirrored field contrasting against frosted relief devices. |

| Additional information |
Niger issued a series of colorized silver coins in the early 2010s aimed squarely at the European novelty collector market, with "The Flirt" belonging to a broader thematic run drawing on romanticized belle époque imagery. These pieces were produced under contract by a European mint and never circulated within Niger itself — the CFA franc zone makes a 1000-franc silver coin economically absurd as currency.
