Reverse description The central vignette presents an eternal flame torch set upon a decorative pedestal, framed by symmetrical acanthus scrollwork and laurel branches rendered in fine intaglio engraving on a teal and salmon bicolour ground. Denomination panels bearing the numeral 1000 in dark guilloche cartouches anchor both lateral margins. A bold banner inscription at the foot of the central design carries the denomination in Latin script.
