| Obverse description | The royal arms of Sweden — a crowned shield flanked by two lions rampant — appears as a central vignette at the top of the note, framed by fine guilloche borders and ornamental corner pieces with foliate and allegorical motifs. Serial numbers are printed in black at upper left and upper right, with the large denomination numeral '1000' in an oval cartouche at the lower centre.
