| Obverse description | Central field features the coat of arms of Nepal, depicting the silhouette of Mount Everest above a stylised representation of the national flag outline, surrounded by a decorative geometric border with Devanagari script characters at the four cardinal positions. The legend 'नेपाल' (Nepal) appears in Devanagari at the top of the central cartouche, with 'NEPAL' inscribed in Latin characters below the mountain motif.
