| Obverse description | The obverse is executed in moss green and brown intaglio tones, centred on a sculpted head vignette flanked by serpent motifs evoking traditional Javanese artistic heritage, set against fine guilloche underprint patterns that frame the entire composition. The dual signatures of the Governor and Director of Bank Indonesia appear beneath the central vignette, with the printer's imprint by Joh. Enschedé en Zonen in the lower margin. Wavy-line watermarks provide additional security to the cotton paper substrate. |

A full-width text inscription runs along the lower margin, with the designer's imprint by Joh. Enschedé en Zonen also present. |
