| Reverse description | The fractional denomination 1 1/4 is rendered in large numerals at the centre of the field, with the word CENTAVOS inscribed below in a straight legend. The whole is encircled by a wreath composed of laurel on the right branch and a flowering plant on the left, tied at the base with a ribbon bow. Below the denomination, within the wreath, appear three small symbols — a bud, a five-pointed star, and a scroll — and the mint mark A appears at the very base beneath the ribbon. The design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
