Obverse description Central field displays the heraldic coat of arms of Ekaterinburg, depicting a shield supported by two figures flanking a central tower with an industrial furnace, surmounted by a mural crown, all rendered in antique silver finish. The legend ДЕМИДОВСКАЯ МОНЕТА НА СЧАСТЬЕ (Demidov Coin for Luck) arcs around the upper periphery in Cyrillic characters. The founding year 1723 appears prominently in large numerals at the base of the design, flanked by the mintmark initials ЕМД and ИПВ. The inscription ЕКАТЕРИНБУРГ (Yekaterinburg) runs along the lower rim. The overall design commemorates the Demidov industrial dynasty and the founding of the city.

Reverse description The central field features the large numeral 13 above the Cyrillic denomination КОПЕЕК (kopecks) in bold relief, with the date 1924 prominently displayed beneath. Two stylized wheat or laurel branches frame the denomination on either side, rising from the lower field in a decorative arrangement reminiscent of Soviet-era coinage design. The curved legend ★ БАНК СВЕРДЛОВСКА ★ (Bank of Sverdlovsk) arcs along the upper rim between two five-pointed stars. The overall design is an intentional fantasy evocation of Soviet coinage aesthetics, referencing Sverdlovsk, the Soviet-era name for Yekaterinburg.
