Side was one of the most commercially active ports on the Pamphylian coast, and its civic bronze issues of this period circulated heavily in local trade rather than traveling far — which is why examples in fine condition are genuinely uncommon despite the city's prolific output. The SNG Delepierre reference places this piece within a well-documented but large civic series spanning the better part of a century.
