| Obverse description | At center, the Small State Emblem of Ukraine (trident) is flanked on either side by stylized laurel branches and leaves. The legend УКРАЇНА arcs above along the upper rim, while the date 1996 appears below the emblem. The denomination 2 000 000 КАРБОВАНЦІВ is inscribed along the lower circumference. Flanking the date are the purity and fineness designations Ag 925 and the fine weight 31,1, indicating the troy ounce content of pure silver. |
