| Reverse description | A stylised map of Antarctica rendered in stippled relief occupies the central field, overlaid with concentric latitude lines emanating from the South Pole, suggesting a polar projection. The denomination 2.50 WA DOLLARS is prominently displayed across the centre of the design. The Westarctica coat of arms, a saltire shield, appears at the top of the field. The legend WESTARCTICA TERRITORIES curves along the upper border and CARNEY ISLAND along the lower border, both within a beaded inner circle. |

| Additional information |
Westarctica is a micronation claiming roughly 1.6 million square kilometers of unclaimed Antarctic territory — specifically the portion of Marie Byrd Land not covered by the Antarctic Treaty's consultative party framework. Travis McHenry, a U.S. Navy petty officer, established the claim in 2001 after identifying the legal gap. Carney Island, a heavily glaciated island off the Hobbs Coast, sits within this claimed territory. These silver-plated pieces were among the first numismatic issues produced for the entity, cataloged in the Unusual World Coins supplement under X# designations reserved for non-standard issuing authorities.
