| Obverse description | Central depiction of the historic main building of the Turkish Naval War Academy (Deniz Harp Okulu), rendered in fine relief showing the neoclassical facade with twin towers and a grand staircase. The building is framed by an inner rope-border circle, within which the legend MİLLİ SAVUNMA ÜNİVERSİTESİ and DENİZ HARP OKULU arc above and below respectively, flanked by six-pointed stars. The outer field carries the bilingual legend TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ to the left and REPUBLIC OF TÜRKİYE to the right, with a crescent and star device at the top.
