| Obverse description | The Dominican Republic coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting crossed flags and a Bible surmounted by a cross, flanked by a laurel branch to the left and a palm branch to the right, tied at the base. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The legend REPUBLICA DOMINICANA arcs along the upper periphery, with a small five-pointed star positioned at the base below the inner beading.
