Obverse description Green on multicolour underprint. At left, a vignette portrays an ox-cart in the foreground before a sugar cane mill — a design element carried over from earlier Pick #64 issues. Legal tender text in Spanish fills the central field, with the issuing authority BANCO NACIONAL DE NICARAGUA DEPARTAMENTO DE EMISIÓN and series date inscribed across the upper portion; the printer's imprint of the American Bank Note Company appears at the foot.

Reverse description Printed in red-orange. The Nicaraguan Coat of Arms — an equilateral triangle enclosing five volcanoes rising from the sea, surmounted by a radiant Cap of Liberty — occupies the centre within an ornate circular guilloche border. The circular legend REPÚBLICA DE NICARAGUA — AMÉRICA CENTRAL surrounds the arms, while large numeral 2 counter medallions appear in each corner and the denomination DOS CÓRDOBAS is set in a bold panel at the foot.
