The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issues collector silver on behalf of its eight member territories — Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla — none of which maintain independent central banks. This piece carries the shared $2 face value used across the EC dollar zone, a currency that has been pegged to the US dollar at 2.70:1 since 1976 without a single realignment.
