| Additional information |
The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank serves eight island territories — Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines — and issues collector coinage under a shared monetary authority established in 1983. The flamingo issues of this period were produced for the numismatic export market, not for any of these islands' actual circulation needs, with sales directed primarily at European and Asian collector channels.
