| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a dramatic scene of an 18th-century square-rigged pirate ship under full sail, rendered in fine detail with rigging and billowing canvas visible. Dense clouds of gun smoke pour from the vessel's open cannon ports along the hull, evoking a moment of maritime combat. The country name and date are inscribed in the field, identifying the issuing territory and year of issue. |

The "Rum Runner" designation references the illicit alcohol trade that flourished across the Eastern Caribbean during U.S. Prohibition (1920–1933), when small-boat operators smuggled Caribbean rum northward through the Bahamas and along the Atlantic seaboard. The Eastern Caribbean's geography made enforcement effectively impossible, and several islands' economies quietly depended on it.
This is part of the ECCB's broader numismatic program producing .999 silver collector issues — a revenue stream entirely disconnected from the bank's circulating coinage mandate.
