| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of Fiji centrally positioned within a radiant sunburst field. The shield is supported by two Fijian warriors in traditional dress, each holding a spear and a fan of leaves respectively. Above the arms, the legend 'FIJI' appears to the left and the date '2021' to the right, while the denomination '2 DOLLARS' is inscribed along the lower rim. The motto 'Rerevaka na Kalou ka doka na Tui' appears on a scroll beneath the shield, and the metallic specifications '1 oz' and '999 FINE SILVER' are incused in the left and right fields respectively. The upper portion of the coin extends beyond the circular flan in an irregular glacier-shaped contour, rendered in high relief. |
