| Obverse description | The inner disc features a stylised geometric representation of a traditional Lithuanian straw garden ornament (sodo), rendered as an intricate lattice of triangular and diamond-shaped forms arranged in a pyramidal composition. The decorative motif, inspired by the age-old craft of straw weaving, fills the central field with suspended diamond pendants at the lower register. The country name 'LIETUVA' appears to the upper left of the design, with the year of issue '2024' inscribed to the right. The mint mark of the Lithuanian Mint appears discreetly to the right of the country name. The outer ring carries the twelve stars of the European Union. |
