| Obverse description | Printed in red on rose-tinted paper, the obverse is framed by an ornate typographic border incorporating vignettes of tropical trees, barrels, and colonial arms. A sailing ship vignette occupies the lower left, while the colonial Coat of Arms is centered at the top. The body of the note carries the full letterpress text of the bon de caisse in a formal typeface, with the designer's imprint "SAUNIER FECIT" at the foot. |
