Obverse description Bare-headed left-facing effigy of King Norodom I, with flowing hair rendered in fine relief, occupying the central field. The engraver's signature 'C. WURDEN' appears below the truncation of the neck, with the initial 'E.' to its left. The circumferential legend reads 'NORODOM I ROI DU CAMBODGE' in raised Latin letters, and the date '1860' is prominently placed at the base of the design. The coin is bordered by a continuous beaded rim.

Reverse description The central device features the Royal Arms of Cambodia, comprising an ornate shield encircled by a laurel wreath and surmounted by a tiered royal spire emitting radiating sunbeams. Two crossed lances with pennants flank the shield on either side. Khmer script characters are distributed across the upper and lateral fields surrounding the central armorial composition. The denomination 'DEUX FRANCS' is inscribed in large raised Latin letters along the lower arc of the design. The whole is encircled by a finely executed beaded border.
