Reverse description Central field displays the large numeral '2' above the Greek denomination ΛΕΠΤΑ, with the word ESSAI inscribed below in smaller letters, indicating the pattern or trial status of the strike. The denomination group is encircled by a finely detailed wreath of olive branches, tied at the base with a decorative ribbon bow. The wreath branches are rendered with exceptional detail, consistent with Paris Mint workmanship of the period. A beaded border runs along the inner rim, mirroring the obverse.
