| Reverse description | The reverse depicts enlarged relief reproductions of both sides of the 1951 2 Deutsche Mark coin arranged vertically. The upper roundel shows the coin's obverse with the Federal Eagle and the circular legend, mint mark G at the base; the lower roundel shows the coin's reverse with the large numeral 2 flanked by oak and wheat sprigs, the date 1951 above, and the denomination below. Between the two roundels, a horizontal inscription identifies the coin. The field throughout is covered with guilloche zigzag line engraving, and oak branch borders frame the edges. |
